紀錄片製作人多蕙，在生日當天的一場機車肇事逃逸意外中失去了未婚夫。她相信如果她能夠原諒，大家都會比較快樂，於是她選擇不起訴這個青少年肇事者。一年後，多蕙跟多起案件的受害人見面，並且開始拍攝紀錄片。在拍攝的過程中，多蕙開始回想起這個她當初選擇原諒的17歲肇事少年，「他一定好好過著守規矩的生活了吧」她心想。她平靜的繼續拍攝她的紀錄片。但是有一天，她聽到這個少年的消息，不禁大受打擊...

Da-hae, a documentary producer, loses her fiancé in a hit-and-run motorcycle accident on her birthday. Believing that everyone will be happy if she forgave, she drops charges against the teenage perpetrator. A year goes by, and Da-hae is planning to film a documentary on the subject of forgiveness. She meets victims of various cases and starts filming. As the filming goes on, Da-hae starts to recall the seventeen-year-old boy she had forgiven. Thinking, ‘he must be living a good, disciplined life’, she calmly continues on with her documentary. Then one day, she hears news of the teenage boy and falls in dire shock.
